Beginning and Development:

The Peniel Christian Church began its work in 2011, responding to God's call through Pastor Edgar Borja. In its early days, it was established on borrowed land, which, over time, they managed to acquire. The fundamental purpose of the church is to expand the kingdom of God and provide a space for spiritual and educational growth.

Growth and Evolution:

In its first year of existence, the church organized a summer school for children transitioning from regular school. This initiative, which started in 2011, transformed into a kindergarten in 2012. The focus of the kindergarten is not only on academic education but also on instilling Christian values and the fear of God in children. Over time, this project evolved into a school that now spans up to eighth grade.

Integral Ministry:

The church's work goes beyond formal education. The opportunity is seized to preach the word of God to each family in the community every week. This reflects the church's commitment not only to the academic growth of children but also to the spiritual strengthening of the entire community.

Support from STCH Ministries:

By 2022, the church received the blessing and support of STCH Ministries, sponsoring 24 children who attend and serve alongside their families in the church. With this financial support, the church experienced exponential growth, enabling the construction of the temple and significant improvements in facilities.

Projects and Blessings:

During the year 2023, thanks to the funding from STCH, significant projects were accomplished, including the inauguration of the temple with fans and complete windows. Additionally, programs such as "Feeding Hearts" were implemented, providing food baskets to more than 10 families monthly.

Innovative Strategies and Gospel Expansion:

The Peniel Church implements innovative strategies such as the soccer school, Peniel Academy, CBI, sponsorships, the Flavio Josefo Christian School, "Feeding Hearts" with food baskets, the youth group Generación VZ, worship ministry, and active participation of servants and volunteers. The direct outreach of the church reaches over 200 people weekly.

Advancements and Future Projects:

In January 2024, the computer center and a science laboratory are inaugurated, equipped with the support of STCH. There will be a direct connection to drinking water, benefiting the headquarters and allowing the preparation of food for boys and girls. Future projects include the continuation of sponsorships, the installation of a water well, and the graduation of the first class of Peniel Academy.
